Education

Being a student can be quiet challenging at times, I mean you have to juggle so many things at the same time. From school work to family, friends, companion, social life or even your part time hustle. But from all those things you have to prioritize, and as a student your school work comes first, and with that in mind, technology is making things so much better for us. I mean majority of us own smartphones, with so many features that we can easily access all information that we need for curriculum purposes. Even most educational institutions are technologically advanced, that their students can submit their assignments and assessments online. With your smartphone all that can be done, from doing your research and submitting tasks (internet), to studying (windows application and book apps) even group chatting with your study group buddies (whatsapps and BBM) about educational matters. even though is not everyone who can afford a smartphone, but  as friends or study mates we can help out those who don’t have them, share the knowledge accessible to you with them. I believe all of us have goals and getting good credentials is one of them, so create SMART GOALS. Let them be Specific,Measurable, Attainable, Realistic and Timely. With all resources at hand, your goals are achievable and as an individual you have to make them possible. Withyour best buddy (smartphone) in your hands things are more convenient for you and yet for others, in terms of sharing of the knowledge. So be smart and study smart!

We sometimes do things without even thinking about the consequences, of course its life we do mistakes and learn from them; but some mistakes are done on purpose maybe because we want to test waters but we end up finding ourselves in difficult situation or rather we pretend not care about them. As an individual you got principals or morals excluding those that your parents taught you, but sometimes we set them aside because of circumstances that we find ourselves in. I believe in having a game plan in life, that won't make you regret or even have a guilty conscious at the end of day. A typical example can be being involved in the fight and then blame the alcohol, yet you are actually aware of what you doing and what is going on. What does it is say about you as an individual, your morals and your stands…it also goes to a point of RESPECT, respect starts from self-respect before it can fall to respect on a bigger scale. If you don't have self-respect the ability to respect others is more limited what you say to other people and how you treat them goes back 'how would you like to be treated'. You don't need to know someone in order to respect them but common courtesy and your morality that will set you right. Change your mind set, think before you act, it is better to analysis the situation before you become a victim or hurt someone in the process. We only have one chance to live, but many chances to make mistakes and a room for learning and making the situation different from what it can actually be. Live with no regret, but live with joy and make a difference….

Focus on YOUR goal- YOUR credential

Most of us know or most probably have heard about life of being a student; it might look hectic to some people and fun to others, but it is all up to an individual how you want to make your student life be. But the main point here is to know your goal, focus on it and the rest that comes with it is experience. When it comes to education, we get to go through different institutions in order to get our credentials, and that is where obstacles come up and we have to overcome them. There are issues which can shift your focus; varsity fever, relationships, peer pressure, workload just to name a few, and we might find it challenging when it comes to dealing with some of those issues. That is why it is really important to get your priorities straight, know what you want and focus on what you there for, which is your degree, diploma or certificate. We also turn to lose courage, that’s why you need to surround yourself with positive minded people, who will motivate you. Get inspiration in all matters that may affect you in life, something that will drive you to work hard towards your success, your dream, your goal. When it comes to goal setting, it is all about you and what you aiming at, so it is all up to you whether you work towards achieving that goal, or give up. Giving up is a choice and failing is a lesson, and I believe no one wants to be a victim of failure or to fill up the statistics of failure. I encourage you to choose the best F, Focus and not the rival F, Failure. You are better than what you think you are; it is all a matter of effort, dedication, courage and hard work.

Words of wisdom

 Our thoughts create our reality>>>where we put our FOCUS is the direction we tend to go.

 Whenever you want to achieve something, keep your eyes on the target.

Challenges of being a student

By now most of the learners/students are sick and tired of educational institutions, ‘school’ like we always say. In life we get all types of challenges, and as a student those challenges might come up while you on that educational journey. You working under pressure, unmanageable workload, relationship problems, financial issues, peer pressure, trying to fit in, can’t manage your time, just to mention few of those challenges. Sometimes you get to the point where you just want to give up and do something else, but all you need is courage, faith and to focus on your vision. Talking also helps, though others don’t believe in it, you can get help from your peers, lectures, family, development Centers, and where we spend most of our time on, the internet. But taking up wrong solutions is not the best way to go, we’ve heard or even witnessed some of those solutions in life; I mean people committing suicide, dropping out from school and isolating themselves from the real world. It is not easy; but as being said before, if you know your purpose then you will know what to do exactly. Associate yourself with positive minded people, and always think positively. We CAN all overcome the trials and obstacles that we face; it is all up to you. Challenges are there to strengthen us not to make things impossible for us, so let us accept them as they come and overcome them. Being defeated is just optional; it’s only a matter of time to get through the darkness in your life.

Word of wisdom
Life’s challenges are not there to paralyze you, but help you to discover who you are.
We choose to go… not because it is easy there, but because it is hard…but the goal will serve to measure the best of our energy and skills.

HUSTLING WITH PAPER ON YOUR HAND
As people we have different views when it comes to education and reaching our goals, some people don’t see themselves having a profession or just being in a formal workplace; which leads to thinking that education is not as important when pushing your own hustle. One would ask ‘why do I need education or a qualification if a can reach my goal without it?’ , Education has its own benefits such as complimenting the skill and talent at hand, knowledge empowerment, skill development, credibility and also as back-up for your down fall just to list a few. We have witnessed some of our socialites who are down with their drill with nothing to fall back on. It is advisable to chase after both papers (moola and educational aptitude), as it takes more than a skill to reach your goals. It is debatable as to whether or not education has an impact in our lives and it is also up to individuals to look at all circumstances based on how they foresee their future. Even if you good or have a hustling game on, but still knowledge is power and it is not natural but takes an individual to empower him/ herself with it. As we climb that ladder of success let’s have that trampoline to fall on as it will help us bounce back to it #swagg.

        WORDS OF WISDOM
  • Education is what remains when we have forgotten all that we have been taught.
  • Things may come to those who waitbut only the things left by those who hustle.
