Barclays Premier League

It's an interesting start to the season so far with the BPL clubs spending millions on new players to bolster their teams. Alex Fergusons successor David Moyes, recruited the services of Everton mid fielder Marouane Fellaini with a move believed to be around £27million. The question is, will the Belgian debut in the Red Devils clash against Crystal Palace this saturday? That's all in the hands of the manager. The likes of Shinji Kagawa and Anderson are now pressured to give out 100% because a new players in town and hungry for game play. Fellaini has a lot to prove to Manchester United, and the fans will be expecting twice the amount of performance he gave out during he's Everton days. Their rivals Manchester City have also made a major signing by securing the signature of Jesus Navas. The Spanish winger joined City from Sevilla for a fee of £14.9million. Its fair to say the Abu Dhabi Brothers financial induction to the club has seen them competing for silverware ever since their take over.
One of the signings to shock soccer fanatics is Arsenals surprise transfer of Mesut Ozil from Spanish giants Real Madrid. We do not know what exactly triggered this move but rest assured this is a good move by the London Gunners. They have been struggling throughout the years without any trophies in their cabinet leaving Arsenal fans questioning if they will ever compete for the League title again. They have found themselves stuck and fighting for the fourth position in the league throughout the years. Let's hope Ozil will be the final puzzle piece to Wengers jigsaw.

With the sacking of Roberto Mancini and the return of "The Chosen One", Jose Morinho to Chelsea. There is a lot of excitement at Stamford Bridge for the Portuguese coach who helped the Blues into winning the English Premier League title during the 2004 - 2005 season. He hopes to bring back stability to the club and claims to quit as manager if he fails to bring trophies to the Bridge. He was quoted as saying "I don't see myself in other leagues because I have a connection with Chelsea. I have quite a long contract here and I hope at the end of it we both want to keep together." The former Real Madrid coach failed to deliver trophies to the Bernabeu with he's spell in Spain. We wish to see how he gels with the English club and if we will be encountering another Chelsea reign over English football with he's return.
