@BacktothecitySA Freedom Day Festival 2014

The festival is currently in its 8th year, having attracted a patronage of  17 000 in the recent past. Target for this year 20 000. Back To The City has become an iconic day nationwide, as it is the biggest outlet and platform for the Hip Hop community. Consequently, making it one of the biggest cultural experiences in Africa

- 4 Comedians - Vote to win: raffle competition-> cash prize - Live draw: stand to win Presidential Cards and accommodation - Helicopter rides  - Family reunion- #bttc moment picture competition

First up is the 10K Challenge, which is aimed at giving upcoming artists and producers a platform at the festival. We have received 800+ entries in 14 days.

Only 30 stalls will be made available at the festival. Dimensions are 4m x 3m. 10 food and 20 clothing/merchandise. Please note that stalls are sold on a first come first serve basis. Send booking requests to
