Bee-U-TeeFully Styled for Love

It’s that time of the year where all those love sick couples go all out to make each other feel like the most special people in the world. That’s right- it’s Valentine’s Day, The month of Love! Although some people have definite plans of what they’ll be doing on Valentine ’s Day, others will be stressing about who their Valentine will be, if any, and what their plans for the day will be. We all love to feel special, and we want you to feel special without having to worry about what to wear when your plans come about. That’s why we have put together outfits to wear out for whatever plans you will be engaging in on the beautiful day of love.
Formal Date
Dinner with your Valentine should guarantee that you always look your best and we urge you to go all out with this one. It is the best opportunity to make your partner drool at the sight of your well-planned outfit. If you believe that you are a Valentine ’s Day fanatic then go with the classical red that’s famously associated with Valentine’s day.
Swap out your Little Black Dress for a classic red figure-hugging beauty that accentuates the waist perfectly and holds the girls in place ever-so wonderfully. Pair that with black platform stilettos, a black clutch and silver jewellery. Your jewellery should enhance the beauty of your outfit- not overpower it.

If the red is a bit too much for you, then you can always fall back on the LBD. One classic dress that will never let you down. Go for an LBD with some lace detail- for that romantic, flirty feel. Pair the dress with accents of red; red stilettos, clutch and the vivacious red lips. And your well on your way to turning heads.
Guys, you don't have to overdress for the V-day dinner date. A double-breasted navy blue blazer with white button detail will work with any semi-formal trouser. If you aren’t afraid of colour then you can pair the blazer with red trousers or chinos, brown loafers and a plain white Tee. Simple, yet elegant.

Casual Date
As much as a lunch date, picnic date or a movie date can seem casual, you shouldn’t have to slack on your outfit. A causal date is the perfect chance to look your best and make it seem as effortless as possible. Most women are so terrified of yellow, more terrified of mixing it with a bright colour, but it can look so beautiful on olive and dark skin tones. Try mixing a rich yellow with red accents for a strong style. Take note of the strong spring trends- the patent flats, clear bags and shrunken cardigans, for that ultimate casual look. Try not to overdo it with too much red during the day. If you want to go for the classic red inspired theme then go for pretty faded reds or even pinks- just keep it simple with basic, fun jewellery. Go for dresses that are 60s inspired- which cinch in the waist and flare wider towards the bottom, keep them above the knee and fun!

For guys, casual dates do not require you to go out in wearing just a jean and T-shirt! Dress up a bit but not too much. As much as this statement may be contradicting itself, it makes the most sense. Go for a fun, semi-formal look. You can pair your chinos with a light washed denim shirt and black loafers with gold detail. If you want to look as casual as the date, then opt for short chino pants with boat shoes and a simple plain white T shirt. Add a nice pair of aviators and you’re set.

Whether you’re dining with your crush at the hottest restaurant around or hitting the town with your mates, Valentine’s day is just another excuse to step up your style game. A few key tips to remember are: If you’re going out with your Valentine, then go for moto jackets, leopard heels and a super hot peplum. If you prefer a night out with your girls then sassy lace shorts and a bright blazer are the perfect pair to paint the town... Red!
